We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This position will focus on recruiting and other duties including, but not limited to compliance, policies and procedures, onboarding and offboarding, training and development, employee relations, culture, and well-being.of manufacturing operations in our Norcross Ga site. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
Specific duties of the Human Resources Specialist include, but are not limited to:
Partner and engage with site leadership and HR to identify and improve opportunities that affect the employee experience including continuous improvement in communication vehicles and practices.
Work with the hiring manager through the recruitment process, ensure job descriptions are accurate. participate in recruiting strategy meetings and interviews.Create offer letters and extend employment offers. Estimated 25% of the position
Coordinate with our background and drug test vendor to ensure all pre-employment requirements are met.
Build relationships with hiring managers and serve as a resource for compensation and hiring inquiries.
Interact with staffing/contingent worker agencies to ensure Immucor is receiving well qualified candidates to meet our business requirements.
Analyze, diagnose, and audit people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations;Support our corporate values, contribute to building a positive culture, and promote.
Prepare assessment reports including observations and analysis for senior level leadership review.
Conduct positive employee relations trainings.
Provide customer support to employees on policies, procedures and HR related questions.
Assist with employee relations issues, leave of absences, and performance reviews.
Help to manage offboarding process and collect and analyze exit interview data.
Ensure correct salary range is assigned to each job requisition in ATS.
Participate in monthly new hire orientation.
Can work simultaneously on multiple projects and thrives in a fast-moving environment where things are always changing.
Direct managers and employees to appropriate guidance channels and act as a point of escalation for key HR matters or issues that arise.
Collaborate closely with the corporate recruiter on specific/special projects.

Qualifications for this position include:
2-3 years of HR experience
Bachelor's Degree, required
Strong problem solving skills with customer service mindset.
Successful track record in full lifecycle recruiting.
Experience with iCIMS or other applicant tracking system.
Strategic use of social media to attract qualified candidates for job postings.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of role.
Proficient computer skills including MS Office and Outlook.
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment.
Team player able to assist other HR team members.
Solid understanding of employment law and affirmative action.
