We are currently seeking an experienced Facility Manager/Engineer with proven skills to manage the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, utility systems, buildings and grounds. This will involve providing direction to contractors in the way of repairs and preventive maintenance for facility related issues and utility systems such as air compressors, steam generators, back-up generators, HVAC and refrigeration equipment, and DI water systems.

Facility Engineer – Facility Management (Operations/Manufacturing/Healthcare)


As a Facility Engineer, you will perform all work orders and preventive maintenance associated with facility related equipment along with ensuring compliance of the CAL/PM system. In addition, you will work with all levels of management on facilities improvements and production concerns.

Specific duties in this facility role include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the semi-annual and on-demand certification process for cleanrooms, flow hoods and HEPA/FFUs

  • Guiding investigation efforts for any equipment related or personnel deviations associated with facility equipment or facility maintenance personnel

  • Ensuring compliance of departmental controlled documents (SOPs, Forms, Attachments, and PM Task Lists)

  • Providing oversight and support for facility and utility system projects

  • Overseeing contractors involved with repairs or projects to ensure they are meeting Immucor’s expectations with regard to quality of workmanship, safety, etc. along with ensuring compliance to Immucor's Contractor Safety Program

  • Managing the preventive maintenance and on-demand repair programs for all facility and utility equipment (this includes, but is not limited to Air Compressors, Steam Generators, Back-Up Generators, HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment, and DI water systems) and ensuring timely resolution and compliance with Immucor's procedures and expectations

  • Establishing and maintaining departmental SOPs, PM Task Lists, Forms and Attachments and ensuring compliance with Immucor's controlled document process

  • Ensuring that documentation for maintenance actions taken is in compliance with departmental standard operating procedures

  • Communicating equipment and facility issues with department managers, supervisors and operators with regards to Facility maintenance actions

  • Ensuring compliance to FDA, ISO, OSHA, and GMP regulations and standards in regards to maintenance actions

  • Being responsible for managing spare parts inventory for facility and utility equipment and systems

  • Being responsible for the oversight, management and documentation of the facility pest control program

  • Being responsible for creating, updating and maintaining AutoCAD drawings for the site

  • Developing and maintaining procedures and practices associated with facility/maintenance operations

  • Reporting and analyzing performance data for all facility functions

Facility Engineer – Facility Management (Operations/Manufacturing/Healthcare)


We are looking for a Facility Engineer who has a strong facility management background. You should have proven experience in the maintenance of Air Compressors, Steam Generators, Back-Up Generators, HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment. It is also important that you display excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Specific qualifications for this facility role include:

  • Associate’s degree in related field; Bachelor’s degree, preferred

  • Previous facility experience in the medical, device, or pharmaceutical industries, preferred

  • Experience working with DI water system is a plus

  • AutoCAD preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project

  • Cleanroom certification preferred

  • HVAC certification from the State of Wisconsin are preferred

  • Ability to operate successfully within a fast-paced environment
